All-Star Teams are competitive teams that are formed after a tryout is conducted at the end of May or early June.   All house league players are invited to tryout for their age group All-Star team.   Players are evaluated by coaches and board members to ensure the best players are selected for these teams.   Softball All-Star teams participate in several elite tournaments throughout the region.   Baseball All-Star Teams participate in the Cal Ripken District, State, Regional, and World Series Tournaments, based on level of success.   Baseball teams also participate in local tournaments and our very own hosted Tournaments, The Bantam Blast and Great Escape to Summer Tournaments.   Queensbury also has frequently hosted District, State, and Middle Atlantic States Regional Tournaments.    

Parents and families should only decided to participate in All-Stars if they are 100% committed.   Families should plan on near daily practice or games from mid-June until early August.  Family vacation plans should NOT be made until after All-Star Season.   If you have a vacation already planned, make sure to annotate that on registration form at the tryout.  

Queensbury will be hosting the 8U Cal Ripken Mid-Atlantic States Regional Championship Tournament starting July 24, 2018 at our Queensbury complex.
